ATTENTION Graduating Seniors:

Congratulations on your hard work and determination! We look forward to a festive commencement ceremony , and we want to share a few housekeeping tips before you head off in different directions:

  • Degrees for spring graduates will be posted to official transcripts on Saturday (May 17, 2025) following the Commencement Ceremony.
  • Diplomas will be available for pick-up in front of Balch Auditorium immediately following the Commencement Ceremony; bring your ID to collect yours.
  • Spring grades will be visible on the portal starting May 27; graduating seniors may stop by the Registrar’s Office at 121 Balch on Thursday 5/15 and Friday 5/17 to collect your unofficial transcript with your spring 2025 grades. Bring your ID to collect yours.
  • Official transcript: go to this public-access site: http://www.scrippscollege.edu/registrar/transcript-request . Bookmark it on your browser for ease of access in the future.
  • Scripps email and other software: see this page for account expiration dates and backup instructions.
  • After graduation you retain access to all career counseling support through Career Planning & Resources (CP&R). You can continue to schedule appointments through your Handshake profile or by reaching out at careers@scrippscollege.edu. Want to share your postgrad plans with CP&R? Please fill out this brief form here!.
  • Stay connected to your alma mater through the Office of Alumnae Engagement and with the entire Scripps community on Olive Grove. Access exclusive professional development resources, explore jobs and internship opportunities, and enrich your professional network by utilizing the alum directory. Be sure to update your Olive Grove account to a non-Scripps email so you stay in the know. Welcome to the alum community!

April 18 Last day to withdraw from a class or change to Credit/No Credit or Audit
April 22-24 Pre-registration for fall 2025
May 7 Last day of class
May 8 Capstone Day
May 8-9 Reading Days/Senior Finals
May 12-16 Final exams
 

Know your PERM level

  1. Once an instructor has responded to your PERM, the status will change. There are two levels of approval:
    1. Approved - you may register for this course. (All restrictions cleared.)
      1. Will allow students to register freely without restriction.
    2. Approved - you may register for this course. (All restrictions cleared unless section is closed.)
      1. Will only allow students to register in a course if there are available seats. If the course is full or there are no seats available to a specific group of students registration may not be allowed.
